An Entity may represent a team or group of associated people assigned to the Entity for a common purpose. Entities provide a structure within Threat Center that emulates how your organization is structured as a tree pattern. Your organization represents the root of the tree to which Entities may be attached. 

Entities can represent any person, group of people, teams, divisions, or business units with your organization.
